My best friend's little bro is off to Prom! How time flies.

See them all in the facebook album!

And news! Speaking of time flying, tomorrow said best friend and I are setting about an adventure around Michigan. I will be making a photo project out of it. I am quite excited and this has been being planned for quite a while. :)

All for now,

Lost Love Shall Return?

So, I spent the better part of my summer working at a scout camp. The rest of it I spent sitting in nostalgia of it. I absolutely fell in love with this place; it became a new home, the people a new family. Unfortunately, it will not be opening again next summer, so we are working hard to get the name out there for hundreds of future kids to learn about life and have the experiences that every kid should. Anyway, this post is full of pics. This is a summary of my summer, the summer I fell in love with Lost Lake Scout Reservation and re-found my love of scouting, children and the wilderness.
Enjoy.

In which I was almost speared by the American flag.

We folded and organized at least one hundred platform tents.

This was the view from the stage, where I got to work every day.

Hamburgers!

Essentially LLSR.

No truer words were ever scrawled.

Mackinac day-off trip.

Veteran appreciation flag ceremony.

Assistant Program Director and Commissioner.

Camp stars are the best stars.

Picture 50 people like this and you have the camp staff.

I found this little guy.

AND I BELIEVE THAT MY HEART WILL GO ONNNNNNN!

Lost Lake Love.

If you guys want to help out at all, please watch and share the new youtube channel dedicated to informing people about the awesome that is LLSR. We need scouts and scouts need camp!

With love and memories,

420 in-class studio shoot

In-class studio shoot of our classmates.

Meagan Dullack holds her bright umbrella over her shoulder during an in-class photo shoot for JRN 420, Monday Sept. 12 in Central Michigan University's Wightman Hall photo studio.
Her smile could be the sunshine on Michigan's rainy days.

Personally, this is my favorite because I love tight shots that highlight models' faces and expressions.
I'm a little mad I cut the top of her head off though...

More Michigan!

Vacation times with friends! :) On Pretty Lake, at BF's family's cabin.
All moved now. Got another job for the fall. Woo. Now I can pay my rent. :P

Puppy: Eddie. He was kind of a focus of our vacation, the cutie pie...

Stephany and Nate (left in water) also tried to teach him to swim.

Check it out, the vegetarian cooked chicken. Looks pretty good, if I do say so myself.

Stupid boat puzzle that took days to complete. :P For smart kids, I think we struggled a lot.

More summer life.

So, getting ready to move out and I moved some boxes and found this lovely surprise in my apt...

Probably not the healthiest.

Went camping at Higgins Lake with BF's friends and their family.

Oliver and his daddy in a noodle battle.

Also went to go see Journey with Foreigner and Night Ranger at Detroit Rock City. Awesome experience. Did not bring my camera in, or I would have pictures.

Happy Gay Day!

Gay Pride Week in Lansing. <3
Got my AF lens back too. :)

I also designed the T-shirts for our day camp, Sunny Woods. The theme was pirates.
I tested many shades of red to find the one I wanted for the background.
